Worm castings are exceptionally rich in humic substances, particularly humic and fulvic acids, produced as worms decompose organic matter. This process accelerates humification, resulting in stable, nutrient-dense organic matter (5.5.3 NPK) that improves soil structure, water retention, and nutrient availability for plants.
